CryoPod Carrier provides a safe, reliable and portable < -150°C cryogenic environment for the handling and transport of biological specimens for over 3 hours. The instrument displays and logs temperature, date and time – all events stored in memory and downloadable to a PC – and features audible and visual alarms, and integrates into an optional automated filling station for hands-free replenishing of the LN2 charge in less than 15 minutes.
It can be carried by hand and is ideal for sample transport or handling of temperature-sensitive biological materials in or around a lab or campus. The CryoPod carrier extends the cryogenic cold chain from freezer or dry shipper to bench and back again. No longer must researchers and clinicians rely on cumbersome, improvised, or potentially unsafe methods to transport or work with their cryogenic samples.
