The DataPaq™ Linear Rack Barcode Scanner is very simple to attach to existing 2D scanners, and offers easy installation.

It can be attached to any side of the DataPaq™ scanners using a bracket with a magnetic pad.

Our DataPaq™ software makes it simple to export the linear (rack) barcode data and the tube data to Excel, XML, JSON or text and scanned images can also be saved.

The linear rack scan takes less than one second and the scanner is powered and controlled by USB cable, so needs no additional power cables.

Cryoprotection™ Option

The formation of condensation on the instrument window whilst scanning tubes straight from cryogenic storage is a well known problem. Ziath's Cryoprotection™ is a special coating that eliminates the condensation and ensures uninterrupted scanning. Ziath's method for eliminating condensation uses no extra electrical components, resulting in no risk of accidentally thawing your samples, increased reliability and ensuring that the cost of this option is at acceptable levels.

The Ziath DataPaq™ Express Rack Reader is a 2D datamatrix tube camera reader with an image capture time of only one second. DataPaq™ Express is marginally larger than the SBS rack itself, making it ideal for robotic integration.

Compatible with all 2D barcoded tube racks in SBS format, the DataPaq™ Express is the smallest rack scanner currently available. Its camera based instrument delivers rapid imaging and decoding.
